Within the job scope “Amasya Small Dams Renewal Technical Report Planning Engineering Services”, it is aimed to prepare a study report for the rehabilitation of Yeniköy, İmirler and Ortaköy Irrigation systems in operation by making use of the waters of existing small dams.

By rehabilitating the existing conventional irrigation systems and transforming them into piped systems, both water saving is provided and the possibility of watering new areas is made possible.

With the implementation of the project; irrigation can be done with modern systems in Amasya Gümüşhacıköy Yeniköy Irrigation with gross 565 ha, Amasya Gümüşhacıköy İmirler Irrigation with gross 356 ha and Amasya Merkez Ortaköy Irrigation with 194 ha of agricultural land.
